To capitalize on the more portable nature of Project Q, Sony also announced some gaming earbuds. For bonus points, it would be nice if it could stream games via PS Now. We don't know what the software on Project Q will look like, but it'd be nice if there was something you could do on the thing without actively connecting to your PS5. This way, you'll finally be able to play The Last of Us on the toilet - it's not going to happen reliably through the Steam Deck for a while. It features an 8-inch screen and a controller attachment on either side, making it look like a DualSense controller with a screen instead of a touchpad. This is the "Project Q" that's been rumored for a while. Think more Razer Edge and less Steam Deck. ![]() Sony stated it was for streaming games from your PS5 to a handheld screen, rather than playing anything natively. For all the folks hoping for a Sony competitor to the Nintendo Switch, this doesn't look to be what you're looking for.
